The American Queen Steamboat Company delivers Uniquely American River Cruises. We operate three authentic paddlewheel boats, two of which are located on the Mississippi River and its tributaries and one is based on the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the Pacific Northwest.
Mississippi River & Tributaries
- The American Queen: The largest and most opulent steamboat ever built and the only authentic steamship on America’s waterways offering overnight passenger cruises.
- The American Duchess: The newest boat in the AQSC fleet; this boutique contemporary paddlewheeler is intimate in size with the largest staterooms on the river and began operating in August, 2017.
- Embarkation ports include New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Chattanooga.
- Columbia & Snake Rivers The American Empress: The largest riverboat west of the Mississippi cruises between Clarkston WA and Portland OR (Vancouver WA), or the other direction, following the path of Lewis and Clark.
