Un-Cruise Adventures’ fleet of boutique yachts and small ships carry 22-88 guests on adventure and river cruises along the West Coast of the Americas.
Destinations include Alaska, Hawaiian Islands, Mexico’s Sea of Cortés, Columbia & Snake Rivers, Pacific Northwest, Galápagos Islands, Costa Rica and Panamá.
A new all-Panama itinerary titled Pure Panama: Cultures, Coasts & Canal begins operations in April 2017. Un-Cruise Adventures celebrates 20 years of small ship cruising in 2016.
Two products make up the Un-Cruise Adventures portfolio: adventure cruises that focus on wildlife viewing and arm's length closeness to vibrant shores. Secondly, USA river cruises ply the magnificent Columbia and Snake Rivers aboard a replica coastal steamer.
Adventure Cruises: Eight adventure vessels cast aside the tradition of rigid cruise ship schedules for flexible itineraries and few scheduled port times allowing the vessels to seek out wildlife and maximize adventure activities— hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiff excursions.
Yet guests also enjoy the more traditional meaning of cruising with gourmet cuisine, fine wines and specialty microbrews, hot tubs and other amenities.
River cruises: The S.S. Legacy, a replica coastal steamer fashioned after steam ships that plied the rivers of the U.S. in the early 1900s, sails along the Columbia and Snake Rivers with tours included each day to places of scenic and historical interest. A wine cruise itinerary operating seven separate departures between April and November features wine tasting and tours at Oregon and Washington wineries.
Un-Cruise Adventures latest among a string of industry awards was announced October 5, 2015. This prestigious award is Cruise Critic’s Editor’s Pick for best cruise line for adventure. In 2015 to date, other industry accolades include the Magellan gold award for best expedition cruise itinerary – Hawaii and the Magellan silver award for best expedition cruise line shore excursion for our hands-on explorations in Glacier Bay.
